The story of Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan, whose love for the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad was very high

Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan is one of the people who really loves and respects the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his descendants. 

Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan is a well-known Mufti in his area, he also gave a fatwa that smoking is haram (cigarettes in the view of the Ulama' are still wrong, some say haram, some say makruh and some say permissible). 

One day, one of the Habibs visited him. Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan was very happy because the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad had visited his house. 

When they entered and sat down with each other, the habib asked Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan for cigarettes. 

Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan was shocked and confused because he had a fatwa that cigarettes were haram. Because he loved the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW too much, Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan went out to the shop to buy cigarettes.

When he arrived at the shop, Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan told the seller that he wanted to buy cigarettes. The shop seller was shocked and surprised, then the seller said to Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan "Yes Sheikh, you have changed your fatwa, you forbid cigarettes but why are you buying cigarettes". 

Hearing the seller's words, Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan immediately approached the seller and whispered to the seller, saying "don't be too busy, the person asking for cigarettes is a habib descendant of the Prophet Muhammad.

 After being bought cigarettes by Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan, Habib relaxed while smoking. Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan approached and said to the Habib, saying, "You may be tired because you have been walking for a long time, can I massage your feet?" Even though Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan was older than Habib. 

Hearing Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan's words like that, the habib answered and said "I'm riding a camel, my camel is tired, if you want to massage it, massage my camel because it's tired." 

Finally, Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan, because of his love for the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad, massaged Habib's camel.

 After massaging and chatting, that night Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan and Habib slept, Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan in his sleep dreamed of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. 

The condition of the Prophet Muhammad Saw in Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan's dream was very happy, the Prophet Muhammad Saw said to Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan in his dream "Thank you for taking care of my descendants, maybe he hasn't thanked you yet, I will say thank you".

Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan woke up and told his dream to the habib, hearing Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan's story, the habib immediately told Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan that he would repent from smoking and never smoke again and the habib asked to learn from Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan. 

Finally, Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan accepted the Habib as his student and the Habib studied religious knowledge with Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan for two years, and from studying with Sheikh Abdullah Basaudan, the Habib became a well-known ulama'.
